“Air-port Boryspol” is the most popular and wide-known Ukrainian air-port.

Recently, air-port has been celebrated fiftieth anniversary. It was changed to the “civil air-port” in 1959. Before that it was military. Only after 1959, there was Ukrainian civil fleet “Kiev”, which began to make not soldiery flights.

During 50 years, air-port was so much perfected and changed. Now it is a modern complex which bears legally name «Air gate to Ukraine»

Air-port Boryspol consists of three terminals: A, B, C (terminal “D” is practically finished).

Terminal “A” – meets guests which travel through the territory of Ukraine. By the example of Kiev, I will tell you how to take a taxi correctly and not to overpay.

As well as in any other country, taxi is the most universal and rapid kind movement. It does not concern megapolises, where jams are in a length of a few kilometers. Kiev, thanks for God, it is not such megapolis.

There are two types of taxis in Kiev. The first one is a taxi which have controller’s base, and automobiles equipped with portable radio transmitters, and the second one –«rooks». It is proprietors of own auto which want to earn additionally.

Kiev has the most extensive transport road junction among other cities of Ukraine up to the present day. And this is not surprising, because it is the capital of Ukraine.

But nevertheless, it is far to the European standards, and it meets the requirements only to some extent.

There is the following transport in Kiev:

Tram

It is one of the oldest types of transport, but nevertheless it is the most eccentric. Kiev is not the first city in Ukraine where trams appeared, but there are many tram-lines.

They circularly include central part of the capital and come to the bedroom community of the city. Service in trams wishes to be better; there are not conditioners, soft seats. But for all that, it is the most suitable transport for pensioners, I don’t know why, but above all I meet them there. To the present day fare makes 1, 50 UAH (20 cent).
